How to create a blog
There are many different platforms to create your blog. I am using Blogger. It is easy if you have a Google account because it is one of the apps in the Google menu.
Here is a link on how to create a blog on Blogger
- Create your blog.
- Send me an email with a link to your blog.
- Make your first blog post by following the instructions below.
- Comment on my post and 3 of your classmates.
- your dream jobs when you were a child.
- other career options that you had at the moment of applying to university.
- what made you decide in the end.
- your experience at the university until now.
- the kind of job you would like to have.
Leave comments on 3 of your classmates posts try to find something in common. Also, comment on your teacher's post.
Below is my example.
When I was a child I wanted to be a pediatrician. I don't know why! Maybe because I thought that I wanted to work with children and help them.
When I was a teenager I began to think about other options. There were so many things that I wanted to do that I thought choosing just one would be difficult. I thought about journalism, art, psychology, architecture, travel and hospitality, etc. In the end, I chose to study psychology because I thought that it was a general topic that could be useful in a variety of jobs.
My experience at university was one of the best times of my life. I went to a university in another city and lived with other students, many who are still very good friends of mine. I was really interested in my classes and all of the learning experiences.
After graduating I worked with people with developmental disabilities for a few years before I decided that I wanted to live abroad. I then decided to take a teacher training course in order to teach English. Since then I have had a variety of jobs within my field. Looking back, I am happy that I chose to study psychology because it is still relevant to what I am doing now.
Teacher Ronda, I really liked your options and also your final choices!
